If a parent theme is close but not right, a child theme keeps your changes safe through updates. Done badly this is where sites break at the worst moment, so we keep the override surface small and documented.
Page builder to custom theme
We rebuild builder-made sites as proper themes, migrate the content, and keep every URL intact so rankings are not disturbed. The builder scripts leave with the builder, which is usually where the speed comes from.
Performance and accessibility
Themes that ship only the CSS and JavaScript the design uses, with keyboard focus, contrast and landmarks handled during the build rather than bolted on after a complaint. Pairs with speed optimization.
Theme audits and rescue work
Inherited a theme nobody understands? We read it, document what it does, tell you plainly whether it is worth keeping, and either fix it or replace it. We will say when replacing is the cheaper answer.

How much does custom WordPress theme development cost?
It depends on how many distinct page templates the design needs, not on page count. A focused marketing site with a handful of templates is a different job from a publication with archives, taxonomies and author pages. We scope from your design or wireframes and quote a fixed price before any code is written, so there is no hourly meter running.
Why not just use a premium theme or a page builder?
For many sites a good off-the-shelf theme is the right answer, and we will say so. A custom theme earns its cost when the design is genuinely yours, when page-builder markup is slowing the site down, or when you want to stop paying licence fees for a stack you cannot change. The honest test is whether you are fighting the theme more often than using it.
Do you build block themes for full site editing?
Yes. We build block themes with theme.json where the editing experience matters, and classic PHP themes where a project needs template logic that blocks make awkward. The choice follows the project, and we will explain which we are recommending and why before we start.
Can you convert our existing page-builder site to a custom theme?
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons people call us. We rebuild the design as a proper theme, migrate the content, and keep the URLs intact so search rankings are not disturbed. Sites usually get noticeably faster, because the builder markup and its scripts go with it.
Do we own the theme when it is finished?
